Groups for Kids

The professionals at Kids Inc provide a variety of opportunities for kids to interact, learn,
and develop with each other and their parents. All groups require payment before first
session. Groups will begin when minimum number have registered for group.

#1 Parent and Preschooler Sensory Development Group (ages 18

month to 4 years; parent and preschooler pairs) Saturdays 10:30 am – 11:30 am

for 4 weeks

Looking for a way to enhance your preschooler’s interactions with you and others?

Come

and join other parents and their preschoolers in a tactile art therapy group

that

will

enhance you and your toddler’s emotional ties and their ability to positively

interact with

others.

#2 Social Skills Group (ages 5-7, parents are given opportunity to watch or join in)

n this group children will learn to have fun and to interact with each other in positive

safe ways. Through concrete, interactive and positive experiences, children

will

have the

opportunity to increase their self-esteem, trust in others and sense of

belonging with their

peers and adults.

#3 !S.O.S.! Anger Management Group (ages 6-10 and one parent for last half)

Just like the sailors on rough seas, your angry and lashing-out child may be

sending you

an S.O.S. signal for help! Through art, play and social interactions

your

child can learn

new ways to help them deal with these feelings and the

behaviors

that they may cause.

This six-week group will introduce your child and

you to new

skills that can be used at

home to decrease out of control or angry

behaviors.
