Play therapy is one of the tools we at Kids Inc. utilize to communicate both observe the
child and guide them toward healing.  Play may also help determine the cause of
problematic behavior.

The Association for Play Therapy cites the following:

“Play Therapy helps children:

  • Develop new and creative solutions to problems.
  • Develop respect and acceptance of self and others.
  • Learn to experience and express emotion.
  • Cultivate empathy and respect for thoughts and feelings of others.
  • Learn new social skills and relational skills with family."
